Dominique Murdock is a Ph. D Candidate at Carnegie Mellon University, Gates Scholar, And Fulbright Alumni studying Identity Construction & Cultural Investment in Second Language Learning. Growing up in Detroit, Dominique always knew she needed to see more of the world to feel complete. As an adult, she knows the true value in life is in experiencing that world with other like minded and spirited comrades.

 

In anticipation of her Summer dissertation defense, soon to be Dr. Murdock is currently working on an investment-based identity measurement tool and pedagogical approach for second language acquisition.
